Let's Make -

Measure and mark 10 mm plywood L*W (15"*11") 2 Pcs using Circular saw. These pieces of plywood will be base of the box. Measure and mark 18 mm plywood L*W (15"*7") 2 Pcs & L*W (9"*7") 2 Pcs using Circular saw. These 4 pieces of 18 mm plywood will be used a wall of the box.

Put these 4 plywood pieces L*W*T (15"*7"*18 mm) 2 pcs & L*W*T (9"*7"*18 mm) 2 pcs on the base plywood L*W*T (15"*11"*10 mm) as length and width respectively. Put fevicol on corner and nails the all the part of the box. Check for the squareness of the box every time or use a corner clamp.

Fevicol and nails the second base of the box on the top. Then measure and mark the box for 1" depth using pencil and measuring tape. Then cut the top part of the box using circular saw or table saw. Use the straight edge jig while using circular saw for straight cut of the lid of the box. This Part would work as a lid / door, opening part of the box.

Clamp both parts of the box using woodworking clamps. Carefully measure and mark the both coner at the length And install hinges using drill / driver machine and put 1" screws in the hinges. There are 2 hinges are required. Make sure to install those hinges in the same distance and its folding part should be on the crack of the box's lid.

It is time to make the inner coin box for the money box. Measure and mark the 10 mm plywood L*W*T (9"*3"*10 mm) 2 pcs, L*W*T (6"*3"*10 mm) 2 pcs for the wall & L*W*T (9"*6"*10 mm) 2 pcs for the base.

Assemble all the parts using fevicol and nails. Use hammer to drive nail after applying fevicol on the corner of the plywood.

Fevicol a Plywood L*W*T (9.2"*3"*10 mm) at the wideth of the coin box. And put two small pieces of plywood on the opposite to support the coin box. This will work as a secret compartment. You can also add a plywood piece wide enough to hole the coin box in the place if required.

Inner assembly is complete. Let's move to outer part again. It is time to install the handle on the box.

Before that measure and mark the lid of the box center using ruler or scale. And install the handle. Handle installation required nails or screw, depends on the type of the handle.

Install the lock system to the box. For this carefully measure and mark the middle of the lid of the box using measuring tape. It will require some 1" screws and drill / driver machine.

Sand the box using wood sander if not sanded already. After sanding stain the box using desired stain. You can also apply varnish after stain dries.
